You’ve tried therapy before, but it fell short in some way. Either you felt like you received all you could from traditional talk therapy, or you didn’t feel like you could show up fully in your neurodivergent identity.
Your work and personal life run at full speed. You navigate a demanding environment and identify as a high achiever. Many think you’ve got it all together, but internally you feel frantic and overwhelmed.
You want to break unhelpful family patterns and shift the story of your lineage for yourself and your relationships. You’re striving to create a more supportive and understanding environment for neurodivergent men and boys in your life.
People-pleasing has been a survival tool. It’s seemed easier to focus on others, masking your own needs. But you realize this is also creating resentment and preventing deeper connection with others.
You have insight and know a lot of the ‘why’s’ but you still feel stuck in the harmful things that have happened. You’re beginning to realize that your typical ways of coping aren’t working – and you can’t think or read your way out of this.
Neurodivergence and your intersectional identities (such as ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.) impact all aspects of your life, and you’re looking for a space to show up in your fullness.
By combining mindfulness and playfulness, I take a client-centered approach to my work. I am passionate about supporting those seeking to understand and integrate challenging aspects of their lives and experiences. I help others explore and develop their identities, and I have experience serving members of sexual minority communities including queer, trans, nonbinary, kinky and poly clients.
I prioritize developing a sense of belonging and wellbeing in all of the children, teens and adults with whom I work. I can assist folks struggling with too much chaos or too much rigidity in their relationships, behaviors or thoughts. Using the lens of interpersonal neurobiology, I approach client wellbeing as the interplay between one’s mind, brain and relationships.
